Nancy Ellen (Bosco) Germain, 71, of Meriden, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025 surrounded by family. Born on November 5, 1954, in New Haven, Connecticut, she was the beloved daughter of the late Louis F. Bosco and Helen (Malon) Bosco. She shared 51 years of marriage with her devoted husband, Robert A. Germain, building a life filled with family, faith, and generosity.
Nancy is survived by her devoted daughter Terri Germain-Williams and her favorite son-in-law Edward Williams. She was the proud and cherished grandmother of Edward Jr., Ezekiel, Elijah, and Emmanuel Williams. She is also survived by son, Robert Germain (Leslie) and grandchildren Nadilie and Ethan Germain.
She will be truly missed by her beloved sister Marcia Gade and husband David, and their children Matthew Gade (Gina), Brandon Gade, and Alyssa Gade; and her caring brother Richard L. Bosco. She will also be fondly remembered by Aunt Stella Bush, sister-in-Law Bonnie Germain, brothers-in-law Glen (Tamara) Germain and Todd Germain, and Todd's daughters Sarah and Heather Germain. Nancy was predeceased by her mother-in-law Loris Balkun who adored her, grandparents John and Agnes (Krolczyk) Malon, Frederick and Teresa Bosco, the very special Nana Marge Deering and aunts Laura Jean Devit and Dorothy Butler.
For decades, Nancy dedicated her heart to early childhood education. As a Kindergarten Co-Teacher at the Wallingford YMCA, she shaped countless young lives and was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award. She also brought her kindness and creativity to Center Congregational Preschool, the Girls Club of Meriden, and Hallmark in the Meriden Square Mall.
Nancy had a remarkable gift for making others feel loved. A talented baker and crafter, she created handmade gifts, decorated cookies, sewed clothing, and crafted heartfelt cards. Her warmth, humor, and giving spirit were at the center of every relationship she nurtured. Nancy gave freely, loved deeply, and touched everyone she met.
She will be profoundly missed beyond words, and her legacy of love will continue through her family and friends and all who were blessed to know her.
