Raymond Kellogg Obituary

BLUFFTON, S.C. - Raymond Nelson Kellogg III, 87, passed away Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015, at home, surrounded by his children, son, Raymond N. Kellogg IV and his wife, Mimi Kellogg; and daughters, Susan L. O'Keefe, and Pamela C. Jarrell. He is also survived by six loving granddaughters; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ellen M. Klein Kellogg; and his second wife, Leah Ramini Kellogg.

Ray was born in the Bronx, N.Y., and graduated from Stamford High School in Stamford. He attended Rutgers University and The University of Connecticut. He was a proud World War II U.S. Navy veteran, and served as president of several banks in Connecticut. He was an avid golfer, animal lover, and a passionate American patriot.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, Feb. 26, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Gregory the Great in Bluffton, S.C. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to: Capital Needs Fund, Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton, SC 29909.
