Richard G. "Rhino" Condon, 82, of Wallingford, loving husband of Donna (Curcio) Condon, passed away August 1, 2025 at Hartford Hospital with his family by his side.
Richard was born on January 9, 1943, a son of the late George and Katherine (Broullette) Condon.
Rhino attended Holy Trinity School, Lyman Hall and received an associate degree in agriculture from UCONN.
Rhino worked at local dairies, Forte's Slaughterhouse in Branford for many years and retired from Dichello Distributors after 25 years of service.
Rhino was active in the Wallingford Recreation Leagues and coached little league and was a past president of the Lyman Hall Football Association.
Rhino was a member of the Wallingford Elks, the Rod and Gun Club, VFW Men's Auxiliary and the Italian Club. He enjoyed fishing, golf, drinking and gambling, but what he enjoyed most was traveling with his best friend and loving wife, Donna.
In addition to his wife, Donna, he is survived by his sons, Richard and his wife, Jen, and Kevin; his daughter, Jessica and her Partner, Scott; his sister, Barbara; his grandchildren, Ricky Jr., Aly, Emily, Molly, Emma and Olivia; his great grandchildren, Amelia; and one on the way; and his extended family, Marie, Aileen and Scott; along with his golf buddies, Louie, Whitey and Dickie; and his drinking buddy, Bob. He was predeceased by his son, Brian.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Center Street Cemetery in Wallingford.
