It's been a year but the pain
is just as hard to bear
Do I have to go through life
knowing you are not there?
Please someone explain
why he had to go
Because I will never know.
I sit here and remember
all the times we shared
The talks...the laughter...
the way he cared.
I am told the pain
will ease in time
and I will think of him without a tear
But that will be impossible as
I want to have him here.
He went away, we had to part
God eased his pain
and that broke my heart.
He was my world,
the love of my life.
I love you Bob
with all my heart.
