Roger was a class act guy who I met many years ago through the Wallingford Elks. He truly was a man with a "Heart of Gold"! Roger, as we say in the Elks ritual "Your clock has stopped at the hour of eleven, your ship has sailed to another shore, and we have got a vacant chair" Roger, your name shall never be forgotten!! To Betty and family my sincere condolences on the loss of a wonderful man!!

Roger will be missed and always remembered. We had good times at the Maloney/Platt Thanksgiving Day games on several occasions. I remember watching him enjoying his card playing at the Elks lodge. My best wishes go out to Elizabeth and Sharon for your loss.

Mr. MacDuff was such a happy, gentile man. He would walk in the room with the best swagger, one hand in his pocket, and the other snapping his fingers. After my mother passed away, Mr. and Mrs. MacDuff stepped in and and helped raise my brother as well as me. He was like a second father to me. I will miss him so much. What a blessing heaven received!

Betty. I'm so sorry to hear the news of Roger's passing. You and Roger were such dear friends to Phyllis and Bert. They loved all the traveling you did together from the cruises to the road trips they were all treasured. I remember my father saying that Roger was the most talented stripper at Miller-Johnson and only wanted Roger to do his printing work. I also want to thank you both for all the kindness you gave to Phyllis after Bert's passing. I hope they are playing cribbage together soon.
Hugs and Love to you all. Pam and Phyllis
