Sharon Rebstock Obituary

Sharon Louise Polvani Rebstock
Sharon Louise Polvani Rebstock, 79, entered God's Kingdom on Nov. 1, 2024 in Bradenton, FL, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Meriden, CT on July 29, 1945, Sharon was the daughter of the late Amelia (Marino) and Santi Polvani. She attended Meriden public schools graduating in 1963. After marrying Louis Rebstock in 1965, she worked briefly as a telephone operator at Telco in Meriden until joining her husband at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines in the spring of 1966. Upon return to Meriden and starting her family, she started a career in accounting that spanned 40 years, working for various firms in CT, mainly Cheshire Management Corporation, Wallingford Country Club, APA Trucking, Kogut Florists, and Legacy Management Corporation. Sharon and her husband moved to Bradenton, FL in Feb. 2002. There, she managed an apartment complex of over 60 units before working for a car leasing company prior to her retirement. Sharon was not only a great mother and wife, but a great cook, cake decorator, accomplished knitter and crocheter. She loved being with her family, entertaining family and friends, shopping, socializing, and most of all going out to eat.
She is survived by her husband Louis of 59 years, daughters Christine (Nancy) Rebstock of Middletown, CT, and Stacy (Joseph) Kronenberger of Bradenton, FL; brothers Joseph Polvani of Bradenton, FL, and Albert Gartner(Cindy) of Sautee, GA; a sister Donna (Charles) Pilkerton of Myrtle Beach, SC; nephews Robert Rebstock of Meriden, CT, Derek Pilkerton of Wallingford, CT, and Brett Pilkerton of Washington, DC, and nieces Heather Gartner of Troy, NY, Ariana Gartner of Sautee, GA, and predeceased by Kristen Rebstock. Sharon will be greatly missed by all that knew her!
A memorial service at graveside will occur sometime later in Connecticut.
