Stephen Vergnetti Obituary
Stephen was born in Meriden on May 22, 1974, beloved son of Adrian Vergnetti-Stewart and the late Peter Vergnetti. Stephen had worked as a welder. He found great joy in his children whom he loved dearly and in his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hiking and the outdoors.
In addition to his mother, he will be sadly missed by his stepfather, John Stewart Sr., formerly of Wallingford; two sons, Stephen and Joshua Vergnetti of Meriden; and two brothers, Timothy P. Vergnetti of Wallingford and Johnnie L. Stewart, Jr. and his wife, Leah of Meriden.
Friends may call on the family on Friday, Feb. 22, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm St., Wallingford. Funeral services and burial will be private. It is suggested that contributions in his memory be made to the Meriden Humane Society, 22 East Rd, Meriden, CT 06450. My bud Steve was a long time friend that was known and liked buy much.He would take the shirt off of his back for you in a flash.At least he did for me a couple of times when we were younger. He's definatley gonna be missed on my behalf. Rest In Peace,old friend. I'll see you for our last time on friday.

You were a great man, friend, father and husband. A friend to all, and made an impact on the lives of everyone around you. No one could ever forget meeting you. You saw me for who I was and let me be who I am. You accepted me no matter what I did, and I did the same for you. You always kept me safe and secure, no matter where the road lead us. You were always my guardian angel. Your laugh, your smile, your essence, your sence of humor, always got a reaction out of me. Your eyes I could never deny. You showed me your beautiful soul. A soul that intertwined with mine. I always believed in you and believed you were my soul mate. You were my one and only true love, and the greatest love. I remember all the times we had together. Not always great times, but somehow we still made it through. We had our own language and understanding of each other. I know you will watch over all your loved ones. I never questioned your love, Stephen. You will ALWAYS be in my heart and soul and I will NEVER forget you. I will miss you dearly. You leave me heartbroken, but I know that one day we will reunite and continue for eternity. I love you, baby badger!!!!

Stephen was a great friend, lover, husband, and father. He helped me grow from a seed to a beautiful flower. Stephen was my heart and soul and forever will be. I will miss him dearly, and NEVER forget him. I know he will always be with me, and all his loved ones. He will always be the one. One day, we will be together again.

I have known Sarah ,Stephen and Joshua for the past ten years. This is a terrible loss for all of them. May Stephen be their guardian angel and guide his children through life's ups and downs and bring them to happiness.

Steve will be in my heart and soul forever. He will be missed, he was very much a good friend, I have Faith that he is in a happier place, may he watch over our children.
