Steven Everett Obituary
Born in Meriden, on Dec. 12, 1955, he was the son of the late Edward P. Everett and Whillene L. Everett, and he had resided in Meriden all his life. He was a 1975 graduate of Maloney High School. Mr. Everett was employed by Residential Management Services and part time at ARC Meriden-Wallingford Inc. He was a member of Mount Hebron Baptist Church.
He is survived by a sister, Joann C. Windley; brother-in-law, Floyd A. Windley; sister-in-love, Lorna Preston; godsons, Luis A. Troche, Esrasmo David Gomes and Christopher Justiano; goddaughter, Afea Drumfour; and a host of nieces, nephews and special friends.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, Jan. 20, at 12 p.m. at Mount Hebron Baptist Church, 84 Franklin St., Meriden. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends and family may call prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the John J. Ferry and Sons Funeral Home 88 E. Main St. Meriden. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to The Willene Everett Scholarship Fund, c/o of Meriden Community Action Agency, 74 Cambridge St., Meriden, CT 06450. www.jferryfh.com

My deepest sympathy and condolences to the family and friends of Stevie. He will never be forgotten. Basically everyone in this town knew him to be a nice and caring individual. He would often be seen supporting his community at different community events and was a person that took time out of his day to visit friends. I remember him always being at my Aunt Miriam's house at all the family parties and special ocassions. Steve we will never forget you! You will be missed!
