William Roberts Obituary
William F. Roberts passed away Friday, Sept. 6, 2024 at home after a long illness with his loving wife Eileen by his side. He was born in Meriden, CT Dec. 6, 1941 to William L. Roberts and Kathleen Doyle Roberts. He enlisted in the Marines right out of high school. After serving in the military, he became a Teamster Truck Driver throughout the New England area. Bill was a hard worker, fun loving man who enjoyed family, friends, Elvis Presley, Joe Namath, Willie Nelson and all types of sports.
He is survived by his wife Eileen Kavanagh Roberts, children; Christine (Jim), Natalie, Kelly(Dan), Sean(Jackie) and Matthew, siblings Doyle(Donna), Kathleen(Bobby), Maureen, grandchildren, great grands, nieces, nephews and cousins. Was predeceased by his brother Thomas.
A memorial service will be held at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Biddeford, Maine October 4, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. Luncheon to follow at St. Joseph's Church. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Wounded Warriors.

We will never say goodbye to you brother Bill... because you will always and forever be in our hearts. We will remember only the good times growing up together, all the fun teasing each other and sharing all the chaos of having a big family( especially having a big brother like you)!! I have only fond memories of my cousin "Dollar" Bill. He very seldom missed a gig when we played at Mauri´s Cafe. He loved music and loved a good time. His Gretsch Country Gentleman got his brother Rooney playing guitar and got me started on guitar to accompany Rooney at family picnics; which were numerous and often when we were growing up. RIP Billy, thinking of you will always make me smile.
