Christopher Doleva Obituary

Christopher M. "Topher" Doleva

Georgetown , TX - Christopher "Topher" Michael Doleva, 41, of Georgetown, TX passed away unexpectedly while on vacation with his wife, Savannah, in Costa Rica Friday July 5, 2024. Christopher was born August 7, 1982 in Greenfield, MA to John and Diane Doleva.

Topher graduated from Greenfield High School in 2000 and shortly after started his career in tree work. In 2006, he and his wife Savannah moved to central Texas where they built their home together. He worked for The Davey Tree Expert Company for several years. In 2009 he became an ISA Certified Arborist and he and Savannah started their own tree company, Doleva Elite Tree in Georgetown, TX.

Topher never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face. He loved life, his family, fishing… and his truck, boasting over half a million miles and still going strong! He grew up fishing for tuna on his father's boat, The Dee-J, out of Snug Harbor in Rhode Island. He continued the tradition in Texas and would fish the Gulf of Mexico, going up to 120 miles offshore. He enjoyed long rides on his motorcycle and relaxing in the pool after a long day at work.

Topher leaves behind his loving wife of nearly 15 years, Savannah (Frazier) Doleva of Georgetown, TX. Mother Diane (Fisher) Doleva of Greenfield, MA. Sister Jessica Doleva and nephew Ryan Doleva of Georgetown, TX. Brother John Doleva, his wife Brooke (Lafave) Doleva and nephew John Liam Doleva of Greenfield, MA. Father-in-law Wesley Frazier of Swanzey, NH. Mother-in-law Tammy Hicks and brother-in-law Ryan Bonsignore of Winchester, NH. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Topher is survived as well by his loyal and loving dog Beau Doleva of Georgetown, TX.

He was predeceased by his father John E. Doleva in 2021.

For our Texas family: A celebration of life will be held at Topher and Savannah's home in Georgetown, TX on Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 6pm to 10pm.

Diane, and family,
I was saddened to read of Topher´s passing. He went to school with my son, whom was really shocked.. May God wrap his arms around you and remove your sorrows and pain.
