Cynthia Keech Obituary

Cynthia Lyell Keech

Moody, TX - Cynthia Lyell Keech passed away on May 23, 2025. Cynthia was the oldest daughter of Rev. William and Joan (Lyell) Keech. She was born in Newton MA on May 19, 1950.

Cyndie graduated from Greenfield (MA) High School and Greenfield Community College. She spent most of her career as a medical transcriptionist.

Her first marriage to Laurence Howard took them to Alaska through his Air Force service. They were later transferred to Texas. While the marriage did not last, Cyndie found her true home in Texas with the love of her life, Juan Lopez, who predeceased her.

She is survived by 2 sisters, Ruth (husband Larry) of South Portland ME and Shirley (partner Mary) of Northfield MA. She leaves an aunt, Ann Mezzanotti of Fall River MA, a number of cousins, Juan's children and many dear friends.

Cyndie will be remembered on Saturday June 7, with hours at 11 and a service at noon at the Waco Memorial Funeral Home.

Special thanks to Michelle Johnson who took such good care of Cyndie during her final years.
