Daniel Cruz Obituary
Danny was a member of the First Congregational Church in Greenfield. He audited art classes at Greenfield Community College. He enjoyed art, music, politics, great foods and mindfulness meditation. His art teacher described Danny as a shining bright light. He founded ""Flaming Dragons of Middle Earth"", was lead singer and traveled with the band. He loved spending time with his friends.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Ann and Richard Seely of Greenfield; his grandmother Betty Schaffer of Easthampton; two uncles: Jon Olson of Weatogue, CT and James Olson of Baltimore, MD and several cousins.
Memorial donations are suggested to Muscular Dystrophy Association, 33 Lyman Street, Suite 205, Westborough, MA 01581. A memorial service will be held at the First Congregational Church, Greenfield at a date to be announced later. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker Funeral Home, 14 High Street, Greenfield.

How sorry I am to hear about Danny's passing. He was such a vibrant being and an enthusiastic participant in Buddy Baseball, always leading us in a rock and roll cheer. All of us at Buddy Baseball will miss him greatly.

Danny did a lot for Turners Falls High School. He brought together students in a way you could not imagine. He touched a lot of lives! jeff

I was deeply saddened to hear of Danny's death. He was so full of life and passion for his numerous interests. Danny had rich relationships, and he brought much joy and humor to so many people. He will be missed and remembered.

Danny was a young man full of life, and very talkative. I greatly enjoyed playing Buddy Baseball with him, as well as attending church with him when I was younger.
