Edith Field Obituary
Shelburne Falls, MA - Edith Ann (Nowill) Field, 78, of Shelburne Falls, MA, raised in West Springfield, MA, died on 11 February 2023.
She was predeceased by parents Ben and Pauline (Moody) Nowill, and sister, Carol Goodwin.
She leaves her husband of 53 years, Carlyle (Carl/Pete), daughters Tanya Field-Michaud and husband Richard (Rick) of Pepperell, Heather Armstrong, and husband George (Art) of Shelburne Falls, Elisa Rose of Chicopee, Victoria (Vicki) Halupa and husband Etem of Prince Edward Island, Canada, eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She also leaves brothers Paul H. and wife Timmie of Gill, James A. and wife Kathie of Easthampton, and her beloved nephew Howard Stone and wife Donna of Berkeley Springs, WV.
A Celebration of Life will be held 13 May at noon, at the Leverett, MA Town Hall instead of a funeral per her request.
In lieu of flowers, Shriners Hospitals for Children 516 Carew St. Springfield, MA 01104, and Pioneer Valley Hospice and Palliative Care 329 Conway St. Greenfield, MA, 01301 will each accept donations in her name.
