To all of Eddie's family,
My sincere condolences on your loss. I grew up with Eddie in Shelburne Falls and remember him as a soft-spoken, decent guy. I thought it cool when Ed joined the Marines like my Dad, Harper, but I worried so for all the boys who were sent into that war. So many years have passed, and I am sorry that God took him home so soon. Blessings for peace and comfort to you all in the days ahead.

Penny and family,

My heart goes out to all of you on the loss of Eddie.

He fought a battle, that in the end, that God told him, it was ok to let go. Heaven has another angel to watch over all of you.
