Dear Kate, Anne & Stephen,
I just discovered the way to connect to our old hometown and the news. I am sorry that my condolences are a tad late, but as they say, "better late than never". Shelburne Falls will never be the same without those of the greatest generation. My sincere condolences to you all. I truly understand your loss.
God bless you all with peace.
Sincerely,
Becky

When I taught at Buckland Shelburne Reg. School, Gene would sit in the back and observe my teaching methods. He was very professional and gave good constructive ideas on what he observed. At that time of my Teaching career his input was very important to me. I will always remember his smile, his thoughtfulness and kindness. In my mind he was a wonderful human being.

Dear Stephen, Anne, and Kate,
So very sorry for the loss of your wonderful Dad. Your father´s love for family was unyielding, and his devotion to country unparalleled. My family will never forget the friendship forged between our fathers, and especially the time your father spent with our Dad during his final days.
Your father was an amazingly humble man. He never forgot where he came from, nor the people who helped to shape him to become a man of utmost integrity with deep interests, knowledge, and curiosity.
As a young girl, both your father and mother always made me feel extra special. Their warmth, embrace, and sincere expression of caring will never be forgotten.
Thank you for sharing your Dad with me and so many. He is so missed.
May God Bless your father and all whom he loved.
Sincerely,
Judy (Butler) Driscoll
