Kimberly Dawn Stetson

Kimberly "Kim" Dawn Stetson, 47, of Lyman, South Carolina, formerly of Greenfield, MA, passed away at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina on November 24, 2018, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Kim was the beloved daughter of Joan Gignac Stetson of Greenfield, MA, who predeceased her. Kim is survived by her brother Steven Allan Stetson, of Greenfield and her fiance, Gerald Brown of Lyman, SC, as well as many relatives and friends near and far.

Born on March 13, 1971 at Farren Hospital, Kim grew up in Greenfield and attended Four Corners and Davis Street Elementary Schools, Greenfield Middle School, Greenfield High School and Greenfield Community College. Kim worked in Greenfield at Foster's Supermarket and Ames Department Store, as well as for Hulmes Transportation and The Association for Community Living.

Kim relocated to Lyman, SC in 2008, where she worked for several years in the deli department at Bi-Lo Grocery #5297, and was a devout member of Fairview Baptist Church in Greer, South Carolina.

Kim is fondly remembered for her kindness, generosity and cheerfulness, her quick wit and her beautiful smile. Many knew Kim as a creative and talented crafts-person and accomplished quilter and sewer; her artistic gifts continue to grace the households of many who loved her.

A local celebration of Kimberly's life will take place on a future date for those friends, family and loved ones that remain here in Massachusetts.
