Love and sympathy to the Blake family for your loss. They were friends of my parents, Charles & Vesta Keller, Chuck & my dad being co-workers at the Recorder for years. My brother Paul & I especially remember a loving tribute our dad wrote to them on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversay. Truly fine people & will always be remembered.

Although I was not close to her and Chuck, I surely loved their children, well, Mandy and Pete whom I went to school with. My heart hurts for the family as she must have been a truly wonderful and fun mom. I hope heaven appreciates her as much as the community did. The memories must be precious.

Sharing the memories I have of your mom when I heard yesterday, I realized she is one of the mom of friends that was always special in my heart. It's funny how we move thru life and move away, but truly remember how nice she always was! I remember visiting Lis back in our cheerleader days, and dad (Chuck) would find something to tease us about, mom would chime in and stick up for us. She is one of the first moms that I remember seeing as mom, but stuck up for me! Lil ole me! Thanks for sharing your mom w me Lis! Prayers of comfort to you all, I know she will be missed.
