Mildred Rodriguez Obituary

Mildred Rodriguez, 50, of 5th Street Turners Falls, MA died Wednesday 2/10/2021 at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on April 9, 1970, the daughter of Herenio and Felicita Serrano. Mildred worked many jobs including food service.

Mildred loved spending her time cooking and had a strong passion in the kitchen. She will always be remembered for her friendly personality and for her love and care for others especially the customers from the local newspaper which she worked for.

Among her survivors, Mildred leaves her sons, Robert Ortiz, of Erving MA; Alberto Ortiz, of Kentucky, Javier Ortiz, of Lowell, MA; and daughter Jessica Dimitriou, of Millers Falls, MA; and many grandchildren who she loved dearly. Also, she leaves her long time life partner, Carlos Pereira.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 2/18 at 3PM at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal Street, Greenfield, MA. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

Calling hours will be held Thursday from 1pm until the time of the service at 3pm.
