Robert J. Crochier

Carver, MA — Robert (Bob) Crochier, age 68, of Carver MA passed away Sunday, January 09, 2022 in Worcester MA after an illness.

Bob was born in Montague to the late Napoleon Crochier Jr and Janet (Wonsey) Crochier. He was raised in Montague and Greenfield and attended local schools.

Bob served in the US Army from 1978 to 1982, upon his discharge he served in the Massachusetts National Guard for 10 years.

In the late 1980's Bob relocated to Florida, he spent most of the next twenty-five years in Florida, returning to Franklin County briefly in the late 1990's. He worked a variety of jobs in his life, retiring due to a disability from Yankee Candle as a candle maker. He had lived in Carver since 2013

Beside his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Michael, Gerald, and Peter, sister Mary Gifford, step Father Francis Schack, step-brothers Steven, Michael and Gary Schack.

He is survived by his sister Paula of Orange, brothers Paul of Westfield and Randy (Alison) of Gill, Brother -in-law Michael Gifford, Sisters-in-law Terry Crochier and Susan Crochier, many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his partner Sandy Elwell and her children and grandchildren.

Bob is being cremated, burial will be at Bourne National Cemetery on May 9, 2022 which would have been his 69th birthday.
