Robert Wilson Obituary
Deerfield/Spencer, MA — Robert J. Wilson, 50, of 138 Lower Rd. in Deerfield and formerly of Spencer, died Friday, Nov. 26 at Care One @ Lowell.
He leaves his parents; John F. and Sandra J. (Hamlet) Wilson of Spencer and a sister Susan Mikulskis of Burlington, VT. He was predeceased by a sister Christina Wilson in 1982.
He was born in Worcester and graduated from St. John's High School in 1989 and later earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1995. While a student at UMASS, he was a member of the UMASS Cycling Team and participated in many races. Bob loved the outdoors and would walk many miles throughout the Amherst and Greenfield area.
Bob was well liked by all who knew him. He was a gentle and generous, polite soul .
The family would like to thank all the people in Service Net who took care of Bob throughout the years that he was in their care.
The funeral for Bob will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 7th. from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Mary,Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. A calling hour will precede the Mass from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. In the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bob's name may be made to Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish Memorial Fund, 46 Maple St., Spencer, MA. 01562.
