David Davidson Obituary

David W. Davidson

1943-2025

David W. Davidson, 82, of Porterville, California, passed away on September 30, 2025. Born in 1943 in Haleyville, AL, Dave later moved to California, where he worked for more than 37 years at Magnolia Packing before retiring.

Known to many as The Alabama Flash, Dave was a true stock car racer at heart, winning four championships in ten years at his local dirt track. He was also an avid NASCAR fan, always ready to share a joke or a good racing story.

Dave was a devoted husband to his wife, Dora, his partner in life and love for over 62 years. He was also a proud big brother to his five sisters: Ruby Maddox, Betty Bagby, Alice Peters, Linda Parnell, and Shirley Howe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Maggie, and his brother Randall.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, including many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

Well see you on the other side, buddy wall to wall and tree top tall that is all, bye bye. #90.? ?
