Isaac Nunez Obituary
Issac L. Nunez passed away on August 3, 2025 in Porterville, California. He was born on June 3, 1941 in El Paso, Texas to Tomas and Tiburcia Nunez.
Isaac moved to San Jose in 1954 where he was raised before moving to Porterville in 1972 were he resided for 53 years. Shortly after moving to Porterville, Isaac married Juanita Nunez in 1973. He also served in the Army.
Isaac was a contractor, welder, truck driver and enjoyed hobbies which consist of deep-sea fishing, the mountains, golfing, home improvement, farming, gardener a total McGyver, but what he enjoyed most was praising the Lord. He loved the Lord and found great joy in praising Him, worshiping and preaching. He served as a Pastor for Porterville Praise Fellowship for 42 years.
Isaac is survived by his beautiful wife Juanita Nunez, his sons Johnny Dorame from Porterville, David Nunez from San Jose; his daughters Cindy Hernandez and Virginia Rojas both from Modesto and Lisa Nunez from San Jose, 24 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Siblings Nellie Valdez from Redding, Anna Jarrette from Porterville, Joe Nunez from Fresno, Silvester Nunez from Washington, Tom Nunez from San Jose, Tiburcia Irbing from Redding and Louie Nunez from San Jose. He is preceded in death by both his parents Tomas and Tiburcia Nunez, son Isaac Thomas Nunez II, brother Paul Nunez and sister Jessie Israel.
Issac's visitation will take place on Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. To 9:30am at Porterville Funeral & Cremation Center with procession to Hillcrest Memorial Park following a memorial service which will take place back at the funeral home at 11am.
