The family of Jack Null, Jr. is saddened to announce his passing on June 6, 2025. After a brief illness, Jack passed away quietly in Jackson MS. He was 95.

Jack was born on May 29, 1930 to Jack Null Sr. and Beatrice Boyd in Council Hill, OK. The family moved to Porterville, CA. Jack enlisted in the USMC at 16, served two years. In 1949, Jack married Kathy Bariola and they had 2 children. In 1969 Jack remarried; he and Margrett Weldon had a daughter.

Jack worked as an electrician for 40 years. In 2009, Jack and Margrett moved to Meridian, Mississippi. He joined the local chapter of the Sons of the Confederacy.

Jack was predeceased by his sisters, Wanda Woods and Mary Jackson, first wife Kathy Null, and great-grandson, Landon Null. He is survived by his wife, Margrett, daughters Shelley Prestage (Jeffery) and Shani Brackeen (Bill), son David Null (Helen), grandchildren Karesa Prestage, Joshua Null, Darci Null-Fitzpatrick, Nina Hay, and Luke Hay, 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.

Graveside service will be held at the Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery on June 11, 2025 at 12 pm. We praise God for the years we had with our father and grandfather, Jack Michael Null, Jr.

Jack was a good friend of my step dad & mother, Richard & Betty Bradley. I remember him as a very nice man. So sorry to hear of his passing.
