Ruben Anthony Facio

Passed away unexpectedly on February 24, 2023 in Porterville, He was only 22 years old. Ruben was born on April 27, 2000 to Rachel Facio Gaona and Ernest Ray Facio. Ruben's family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden passing.

Ruben is survived and missed by his loving wife, Raeleena Brown of 6 years and his children Persia, Ruben Jr. and Emery Facio. He was a wonderful father and loved his children. He will forever be cherished in the memories of his brothers and sisters, Isidro, Cecelia, Ernest Jr., Anastacia, and Corinna.

He also lives on in the memories of his nieces, nephews and maternal grandmother, Yolanda Gaona.

Ruben is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Cruz Gaona, paternal grandparents Alfred and Virginia Facio, uncle Freddie Facio, aunts Patsy and Elizabeth. Ruben was born and raised in Porterville, where he attended Oak Grove Elementary School and went to middle school in Tulare, he also attended Citrus High School. Ruben met Raeleena in Porterville and began their life together at a young age, they started their family together shortly after. They had three children and his wife is currently expecting their fourth child.

Ruben had a very good relationship with his father-in-law Nando and uncle-in-law Vern. He also had lots of friends from Poplar and Porterville. Ruben will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends. There are no words that can express how grateful and blessed we are to all of Ruben's family and friends for coming together with car washes, food sales and donations for his services. Thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts, the Facio and Gaona family.

A viewing will be held for Ruben at Porterville Funeral & Cremation Center in Porterville on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 3pm-7pm with a Rosary at 6pm. His last viewing will be on March 23, 2023 at 8:30 am at Porterville Funeral then proceed to Holy Cross Church for a mass at 11am. The funeral will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery followed by a Potluck reception at the Eagles Lodge.
