Will "Wiley" Crocker

1935 - 2016

Will "Wiley" Crocker, of Porterville, CA returned to his heavenly home on Sunday June 5, 2016 at the age of 80. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace. He was born on October 11, 1935 in Pampa, Texas to the late Robert and Letha Crocker.
Wiley graduated in 1954 from Strathmore High School. He served in the United States Army, as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne from 1954-1956. He married his wife, Ruby Nell McClure, on May 29, 1958. Wiley later graduated from the College of the Sequoias with an Associates Degree in Accounting, and opened his accounting and tax business "Crocker Bookkeeping" which thrived for 52 years. He had many longtime clients, of which many became close friends.
His family and friends remember him with always having that sparkle in his eyes. He was a brilliant, hardworking individual who loved playing golf, traveling, and reading in his leisure time. He lived life to the fullest and loved laughing, joking and aggravating his grandkids. Wiley was also an active and honorary board member of the Porterville Glad Tidings Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Crocker, son and daughter in law, Jeff and Kelly Crocker, daughter and son in law, James and Shelly Ince, grandchildren, Kayla Drew, Shailyn and Brendon Ince, Evan Crocker, Luke, Sarah, and James Coghlan, great-grandchildren, Rylee and Rogan Drew, Jayden and Nick Coghlan, and brother Grayden Crocker. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother and friend to all.
Wiley was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Crow and Eva Lee Roundtree, and two brothers, Lowell Crocker and Walter Alexander.
Memorial Service will be held honoring Wiley on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Glad Tidings Church, 1014 Pioneer Avenue, Porterville.
