Aaron DeVora
September 7, 1993 - June 21, 2010
Aaron passed at the young age of 16. Aaron was born and raised in Stockton. He attended Stagg High and was employed at David's Pizza. At the young age of 4, Aaron showed his entrepreneur skills with a kool-aid stand, selling his Halloween candy, starting his yard cutting business and recently a t-shirt business "Earn Your Keep" with friends. AJ, "Lil A" or "Filipino Man" as he was affectionately known by family and friends touched our hearts with his passion for life and sports. He was a member of Stockton Bears, Pacific Little League, SYSA, YMCA, Stagg High and Hoop It Up. Aaron's huge smile lit up the entire room, a piece of our heart is gone. He was a wonderful son, brother, grandson, nephew and cousin.
Aaron is survived by his parents Richard DeVora and Tina Laniohan, sisters, Juanita Laniohan, Felicia Moreno, brother Patrick DeVora, grandmothers Lucy DeVora, Esther Laniohan. A huge family of uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Raul
DeVora and Edward Laniohan.
Visitation: Monday, June 28,

I was stunned when I learned from another of Aaron's teachers about his untimely death. Aaron was a student in my 5th period history class. He will be greatly missed by both staff and his fellow students.
My heart goes out to all members of his family. I will never forget your boy. I will always feel honored to have known him.
May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Richard,Tina and family; Our hearts are broken to hear of your loss. Terri and I have not had the priviledge of watching your family grow and sharing in the joy of your children as they have blessed you with their lives. Our memories are of little ones when we were still playing softball together. We can only imagine your grief, and pray for God's comfort and His strength for you, your precious family, and close friends. We send our love and hope to share moments of your time in the future. Tina, Richard, & Family;
I am very sorry for your loss of Aaron. He was a good kid. I met Aaron in my Computer Ed class this year and what I'll always remember from him is his smile and him always trying to help Mrs.Summers by running errons for her or just helping out other kids in our class. I will never forget him. God bless you all and your family will be in my prayers.

Richard and Tina: I have known/worked with both of you many, many years. Richard even tho I never personally met your boys, it's like we watched eachothers kids grow up thru pics and conversations. You have always been a proud father. I just want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and by the attendance of today, your son/nephew was deeply loved. No one can ever take that away. God Bless the DeVora and Duenas Family. Always, Christine Cowan

This is unreal i am still in shock and can't believe this has happen to a bigger then life, charasmatic, very well liked, smart, intelligent, person=Aaron.This should have never happened least of all to someone like Aaron. When i think of Aaron I always remember him and his big dreams of what he'd do and become when he got older as he put it and i never doubted him. When I thought of Aaron in his Mature state i could see him in a suit running things, owning things, being someone who made it big. Aaron was a super great young man and i wish this tragic occurrance could erase itself. My daughter and grandson have plenty of pictures and video's recordings of Aaron that will forever be in our family vault. When he was with us he was family he had the run of the house. How privileged we are to have had a piece of history of Aaron to carry thoroughout out life time. Forever in our hearts, our mind and in our souls. Love, Love, Love you Kid forever!

Aaron was a student of mine until 5/28/10. He was in my Period 4, Computer Ed class. I will always remember Aaron as being respectful, sharp, and very well liked by his classsmates. Aaron caught on very quickly and I would call on him to peer teach. He was always willing to stop working on his assignments and help his peers whenever I asked. Aaron text me three times on the day of the finals worried that his final may affect his "A" grade until I finally called him and asked him to please stop stressing and I assured him his grade would remain an "A." To his family and friends, I am deeply sorry for your tragic loss of such a remarkable young man. I love you Aaron and will never forget you. RIP
