Adam Kowalczyk Obituary

Adam 'Chuck' Kowalczyk

1975 - 2019

Adam passed away peacefully on January 23rd after a short

illness. He was at home surrounded by his family and friends.

Adam was born in Seattle, WA and moved to Stockton at age 1. Except for a short return to Seattle in his 30's, he lived in Stockton and Lodi all his life.

At age 18 Adam went to work for American MasterTech/ StatLabs in the shipping department and continued with the company rising to be Operations Director of the Lodi facility.

Adam lived a wonderful, fun, full and meaningful life. He loved

traveling, especially to Eastern Europe; music, cooking, cats and anything related to Halloween and horror flicks. His dedication to the Seattle Seahawks and Sounders was known by all. Adam's quest for knowledge earned him "Most Interesting Man in the World" title by his coworkers. His circle of friends was large and loyal, keeping friendships his whole life.

Adam is survived by his fianc‚, Mary Squires and her son, Ryan; mother and stepfather, Terry and Marty Schecher; father, Dave Kowalczyk; brother, Steve Kowalczyk and his wife, Rochelle, and daughter, Nina. Adam was loved by his aunts, uncles and cousins. All will miss his unique way of looking at the world. It was a better place for him being in it.

Adam's family would like to thank his coworkers and friends for their overwhelming support. Also, we thank Hospice of San Joaquin for helping us through this time.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Dear Dweet Adam,
What can I say about Adam. We loved him like family. Adam came to work for Don and I at American Mastertech Scientific as a young, somewhat shy young man, eager to learn. It was because of his eagerness to learn, that he moved up fast through the ranks of the company to be one of our most valued employees. Adam was kind, and thoughtful. He loved a good prank! Adam loved Halloween at the company. I remember one year he came dressed as a skateboarder with a skateboard through his chest. It looked so real you gasped but! That was Adam, loved to get a rise out of you. He was just fun! Adam was also a great cook and loved a cooking challenge. I think we are all still in shock, that such s wonderful young man has moved on to his next great adventure. Adam my love, thoughts and prayers are with you today and always. My love to your Fiance Mary your Mom and Dad, Terry and Dave and to your brother Steve whom I know you looked up to. Enjoy your next adventure, praying for you always.
