My first meeting of Doris could be described best as . . Jumping into a Freezing cold swimming pool in the middle of December . . . I though Who is this? , , with time, passion, love, and friendship she became my hero!

When I first met Doris. . . . I didn't realize I had grabbed a "Tiger by the Tail" . . . after the first few encounters it had become "Crystal Clear" that I had met a "truly dear and loving" friend with Passion and Vigor ! You have touched our family and will be in our hearts forever. . .

It was always a pleasure to meet and speak with Doris at Fox Bob Hope affairs. Her kind of enthusiasm is just what's needed in order to bring Downtown Stockton back. She will be missed.

I met Doris through my daughter Krystyn whom worked for Doris as her driver and house keeper before the pandemic. We attended a dinner in Linden with Doris and Alvin and sat at a large table table with her family and friends . She was the life of the party and was beautiful and elegant. We enjoyed ourselves that evening and met some wonderful people that sat at our table. My daughter Krystyn spoke very highly of Doris and Doris called Krystyn her granddaughter . I know that she will be missed and that she was loved by everyone who knew her. Krystyn and Doris kept in close contact with one another and they had just spoke a few days prior to her passing. Her loving, caring heart will be missed by all that had the pleasure of being a part of her life. May you Rest In Peace Doris.

alvin: just a note to express my heartfelt sorrow for your loss. i remember doris when we were kids and like the notice write-up said, she had an unforgetable personality- i can still remember her infectious laugh and her keen observation of what was going on around her.i remember the brief meeting at uop where our grand kids were playing ball, and always thought that more reflection could have happened. thought there might be opportunity another encounter. i cant imagine what your going thru, but i wish you and your family the best. al giovannoni

Doris was very special to me and my family. I have rented a home from her for many years and during that time I became close with her. I cleaned and decorated her home , helped her in her home office and with her computer (which was a frustration for her). She gave me advice in business, home life and with my children. She was a mom to me ❤ She was a spitfire and I loved her very much

A lovely, fun, always well dressed and friendly woman. I didn’t see Doris often but it was always uplifting to see her. May you Rest In Peace, Doris. You were a gift to the world.
