Elroy "Roy" Virgil Warddrip passed away Saturday, August 19, 2006 at the age of 73. Born in North Dakota, Roy has lived the past 2 years in Lodi, and lived 60 years prior to that in Stockton. He served his country honorably in the Army, and following his military service worked for over 30 years for Pacific Bell. He enjoyed truck and antique tractor pulling, and was a 30-year member of Stockton Water Ski Club. His beloved wife of 48 years, Ronovee Warddrip precedes him in death by only weeks. He is survived by his sons, Trev Warddrip (Kelly) of Lodi, Troy Warddrip (Shanda) of Lodi; grandchildren, Natasha Goncalves, Tyler Warddrip, Chris Burriel, Tyler Wahlen, Conner Wahlen, Kayla Warddrip, Colby Warddrip, and great-granddaughter, Mary Goncalves and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Also preceding him in death are 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Inurnment will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2006 at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 at E. Harney Lane in Lodi. Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northern California, 2555 49th St. Sacramento, CA 95817, (916) 734-4230.

I am so sorry for your loss, not only of your father but your mother as well, just a few weeks ago..Rest in the fact that they are together...I worked with Roy @ Pacbell for years..nice, funny and intelligent man, a pleasure to know and work with..thoughts and prayers are with you all...
