Priscilla Elizabeth Warddrip

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Priscilla Warddrip, who courageously faced a brief battle with cancer and entered into rest on August 20, 2025. Born on April 5, 1946, Priscilla blessed this world with her fun-loving spirit, generous heart, and accepting nature. She was a pillar of strength and a beacon of love to all who were fortunate to know her.
Priscilla shared 45 beautiful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Ken Warddrip, and was the proud mother of two daughters, Erin Skinner and Laurel Warddrip, who were her greatest joys. She also welcomed two cherished sons-in-law, Tom Skinner and Brent Simester, into the family with love and gratitude. Her three grandsons, Evan, Austin, and Owen Skinner, were the light of her life, and they will always hold dear the memory of their beloved grandma.
A woman of many gifts, Priscilla was an award-winning pastel artist whose creativity inspired admiration far and wide. She cherished her Hungarian heritage, often gathering family around the table to enjoy traditional dishes she lovingly prepared. She found peace and purpose in her art and in knitting, and through these passions she quietly mentored others, teaching the importance of family, the healing power of creativity, and the beauty of simple, intentional living.
Priscilla will be remembered for her ability to bring people together and make them feel cherished. Her home was always open, her table always abundant, and her laughter always contagious. She leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and community that will continue to inspire and guide us all.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 18, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Lassila Funeral Home, 551 Grass Valley Hwy, where family and friends will gather to honor Priscilla's remarkable life.
