Where would I start? I loved your Mom like a sister. She would remind me she could be my mother. But, she treated me like a sister, tough when I needed it, loving when I needed it. She loved my family as I loved all of you. My best memory is The Hoot Owl, when my birthday would be celebrated. 2nd was any camping trip. There is no Parkinson's where she is, I know my Mom, Max & Earl were there waiting, wondering what took her so long to join. To all you girls, you loved her well, she was only on loan in your life. I love you all, Lizzy.

I was sad to hear the news. I have so many wonderful childhood memories of our families and all the times we spent together... the camping trips, the motorcycle races, picnics, poker runs and bbq's...and so many more.
Wonderful times with wonderful people, and memories that still make me smile.
Sincerely,
Sherry (Faulkner) Scharmann

I having known Gladys longer than any one around, have the most memories, and what memories they are, from the day she met Earl and said, I,m going to marry that nut,if he survives, he was standing knee deep in water, working on electric wiring.Earl and Gladys were Bestman and Bridsmaid at mine and Fran,s wedding, our first girls were born a week apart, the list goes on and on, never to be forgotten, till we meet again at Heaven,s gates. With all our love to all waiting to join them

To the Davenport Family...
My sincerest condolences...as a young boy, I remember Gladys, Earl, and the entire Davenport family coming to our grocery store (East Washington Market). Earl was one of the best backyard mechanics and Gladys was always good for a laugh.
May you find peace and comfort in the memories...and know that she is resting peacefully now. God Bless you all...our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of transition.
