Jorge Enrique Salcido, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 2, 2006 in Stockton. He was a loving husband of Dolores Salcido of Stockton; and beloved son of Tiburcio Salcido and Maria Carmen Gonzalez of Sinaloa, Mexico; dear brother to Jesus Salcido of Stockton, Apolonio, Armida, Elvira, Genaro and Ana Lilia Salcido of Sinaloa, Mexico, Marta, Francisca and Elena Salcido of Southern California and Virginia Rodriguez of Chicago; step father to Javier Velazquez and father-in-law to April; Jorge was a devoted grandfather to Felix Jr., Monica, Renee (His "Princess") and Javier Jr. Velazquez. He was also the brother-in-law of Lydia Montero, Louis, Richard, Paul, Primo "Chris" Vazquez, Rebecca Lopez and Samuel Jimenez, all of Stockton. Jorge is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the rosary will begin at 6:00 p.m., all taking place at Cano Funeral Home, 2164 E. Charter Way, Stockton, CA. A mass will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at St. George's Catholic Church, 120 W. 5th Street, Stockton.
