To June's family and all of us who loved and rejoice in having known June, I pray God's peace unto us all. When we lost my oldest sister Frances, I learned how words of comfort are sometimes so futile. I have learned that sorrow and tears are also God's blessings to carry us through these painful times. So cry when you need to and reach out to others and share your memories of June, one of God's most speacial souls. Share the laughter and the warmth she brought to us all. Let us all strive to become more like June so that we all will see her again.
Prayerfully

Dr. Owens was a blessing to me and my children. Tamonique and Shana loved her so much. It took a while but eventuely she even won over my son Thomas. She was always nice professional and about her business. My children to this day wished that she was still here in Nashville for their children to be their dentist. We will miss her and our prayers go out to the entire family. Dr. Owen was the best pediatric dentist in Nashville, TN. She loved her children/patients and they love her. God Bless You, The Lanier Family

To The Bledsoe Family:
I would like to express my deepest sympathy in the loss of your loved one June. I saw June again a couple of years ago and she was so very happy. We shared childhood memories and talked of old times when we were growing up in Gainesville, Georgia. A beautiful lady.
May God give you and the family a peace to know that her loving and kind spirit will be with you forever.

Friends forever is what I will always keep in my heart about June. Last year in January, February and March we had several conversations about the blessings of the Lord and how he had kept us day by day. She wanted so badly to attend the Grady Young Foundation, Inc. Banquet where she was honored in her profession of dentistry. She was a true witness for Him and I thank her for the inspirations that we shared together. Enjoying the days of classmates at Fair Street and E. E. Butler High School in Gainesville, GA will always be cherished. Know that the Lord will ease your sorrow and comfort you day by day.
With Sincere Condolences

Joyce, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your sister, June. I didn't really know her, but just knowing you, I knew her SPIRIT. I'll always remember the beautiful picture of her strolling on Spelman's campus the 1st time I saw A United Negro College Fund commercial, and she was in it! The last time I saw her, was at your mom's funeral. Always remember, she's not dead, she's just away, and you'll see her again some day. Blessed are they that mourn; for they shall be comforted. I know your pain, 'cause I lost both of my sisters. May GOD continue to bless you and your family.

We are so sorry for your loss. Although it has been a long time since our Butler High days, she was a close and dear friend with a beautiful spirit.
