Lidia Tapia Gerolaga, a 60 year resident of Stockton, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at the age of 95. Lidia was born in Mesa, Mexico on May 3, 1911 to parents, Vicente and Encarnacion Tapia and had been a homemaker for the past 80 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Gerolaga, Sr.; son, Salvador Vega and a daughter, Lela Gatta. Lidia is survived by her children, Ray Gerolaga of Seaside, CA, Hipolita Rodriguez of Stockton, George T. Gerolaga, Jr. of Stockton, Danny Gerolaga of Oklahoma, Carmelita Quilantang of Stockton, Vincent Gerolaga of Las Vegas, NV, John Gerolaga of Stockton, Benny Gerolaga of Oklahoma and Tony R. Gerolaga of Stockton. Lidia is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren and 4 sisters and 1 brother.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, 809 N. California Street. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Committal will be at Cherokee Memorial Park, Lodi, CA.

i remember going to your out house bathroom and the old made home and all that land. we use to play on. and i rember one day going to your house to visit you and you were singing lalalala and throwing rocks at the boys. YOU will be missd. love you lots angie (aunt anita's niece.)
