Linnie was born in Denver, CO to Lamoyne and Lorene Martin.
Served in the Navy after which he spent most of his time in Stockton. He worked different jobs at Valley Mint, Kerona Plastics, West Lane Liquors and O G Packing. He loved growing cactus and succulents, playing Bocce ball, and going to blues concerts, loved his pets, member of Happy Travelers, having a cigar with friends at Stogies and taking his Double Nickel for a ride.
Linnie is survived by his wife of 38 years Sandra Martin; ex-wife Bonnie Martin, children (Kitten) Kimberly and (PoButt), Shawn Martin; brother Lamoyne Martin; sisters, Sharon DePosta and Mary Hemphill. Grandchildren JJ, Andrew, Nicole, Shawn, Andy, Cherie and Devin; great-grandchildren. Analisia & Anissiah, Godchildren Robert Green and Ariel Suarez, many nieces and nephews. Linnie was preceded in death by his son Randy Scott Martin; brothers Dwayne and Arnold Martin, and sisters Norma Martin and Lois Jackson.
Visitation at Sutter Street Memorial Chapel, 520 N. Sutter St., Friday, Sept. 17, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Memorial Service: Saturday, 11:00 a.m. followed by a Pot Luck reception. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Heart Association or Pets & Pals.
