Dearest Cousins,
My deepest sympathies go out to each of you in the loss of your beloved Mother. Your Mom was such a bright sunny person & was one of my Mother’s (Ruth Armenta) favorite’s nieces, but then the ‘entire’ Fidel clan, incldg their families too held a large affectionate place in her heart.
May you be granted God’s grace to help strengthen you during this difficult time. Your Mother’s passing will be a very excruciating challenging time for all of you; please allow your other extended family members & friends to help you regardless of the task. This is the time to be gentle w/yourselves & let others help out in any way possible.

We are thinking & praying for all of you all during this difficult time.

To The Family and Friends of Mrs. Sevilla - My heart was heavy when I was told that she had passed away. I happened to meet Michelle at Kaiser this past Saturday. It had been some time since I saw Mrs. Sevilla, but I re-call her easy smile and caring way. You should all be so proud to have a wonderful mom - you are all proof of that. I am encouraged to know that she knew the Lord before she passed. It is at times like these when we all search within ourselves for that assurance of eternal life in heaven. I hope that all of you have that assurance that you will see her again in heaven. John 3:16. I will be praying for all of you. This will be a time of grief and joy that she no longer suffers. With Love, Marigene

To Cousin Lucia Family,
I met Lucia right after i got married in 1963, i went to Rodgers Jewelry store downtown to make a payment it was then when i spotted the most BEAUTIFUL young Philipino lady i had ever seen come over to help me, i handed her my payment book and she looked at it and said who is Maximo to you? and i said he's my husband. She laughed and said with much love he's my cousin. We laughed and ever since that day so many years ago when ever we met up she would give me a kiss and a hug. She is still that BEAUTIFUL lady i met so many years ago i will never forget her... With all our Sorrow Max(Lil Boy) & Janifer as she always called me..

Dear Family,

I'm really sorry to hear about Momma Lucia. We both know that she is now with God in a better place with her suffering gone. I know how much her pain caused you sorrow and grief, and I found it extremely difficult to see you bear it. But, God will never give us more than we can bear, and he is with you through every step in your life.

Your Mom will always be with you; her spirit and good will be part of you no matter where you go. I know that you wanted, needed, and hoped for more time to spend with your mother but the time you did spend with her meant so much to her. Your mother loved you very much and I know you will miss her terribly. God gives us examples on this earth of how we should live our lives and in the 35 years that I have love mom Lucia she was one of the best examples I know.

I wanted to let you know that I am here for you at any time you need me - just to listen, or to talk. I already told you this, but I wanted to say it again. Please, don't hesitate to call. You can call me at home or on my cell anytime.

With my deepest sympathy, your sister and friend,
Jerris Smith~

Trust in the Lord with all your heart. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.

It was an honor and blessing to minister to your mother and family. She was such a gracious, kind woman focused more on her family than herself, more concerned how her children and grandchildren were than herself. She was blessing and evidence of God's goodness in our world. Bless you all.

Dear Lord,
Today we pray for mothers--
our own mothers, and mothers everywhere,
who have made such a major contribution
to the good qualities we have,
sometimes through genetics,
more often through great effort and patient instruction,
and who have done their best
to gently polish away our rough edges.

Lord, please bless our mothers
for the endless hours of time they spent
and the boundless energy they invested in us.

Bless our mothers for their sacrifices on our behalf
as they often gave up or deferred their own dreams
so that we could have ours.

Bless our mothers for always being there for us,
for being the person we know we can turn to
when we need comfort, encouragement, or just a hug.

Bless our mothers for making a home for us
where we could feel safe, where we felt we belonged.

Most of all, Lord,
bless our mothers for their unconditional love,
for loving us no matter what,
and for frequently showing love
in ways that make us feel valued and cherished.

Lord, please bless our mothers mightily.
Strengthen them, soothe them,
wrap them in Your infinite love
and shower them with blessings
too numerous to count, too magnificent to describe.

We love them, admire them, respect them,
and we wish that You would give them back
many times the good they gave to us.

In Jesus' name we pray; Amen.

Grandma....give my mom a big fat hug for me. She is waiting to give you yours.

All My Love...
Sun
