Martha (Nagle) Cabral

Martha Cabral, 96, passed away on December 11, 2008. She has been a resident of Stockton for over 30 years with former residency in Livermore and returning to Stockton for the last 2 years. Martha retired from the Stockton State Hospital and continued in the nursing field helping the elderly in a local nursing home. Later she married and traveled the United States for nearly 20 years with Bud Cabral.
Martha was preceded in death by husbands, Bud Cabral and William P. Nagle and Dick Alt; sons, Larry Nagle and Lee Nagle; daughter-in-law, Barbara Scott Nagle and grandsons, Stephen Nagle and Mathew Nagle. She leaves behind sons, Bill Nagle, Ross Nagle, Bobby Cabral, Richard Cabral; daughter, Sharon Rieter; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Goodman Nagle; niece, Elizabeth Caries; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Grandma has been the strength and core of our family. We have all turned to her for guidance in all of life's matters. She has been a support to each of us in every aspect of our life. She has guided us well and will be sorely missed!
Friends and family are invited to a Funeral Mass at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 3847 N. Sutter Street, Stockton, on Friday, December 19, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. A time of visitation will be on Thursday, December 18, 2008, at De Young Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California Street, Stockton from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a Rosary following at 6:00 p.m. Committal will be private at St. Mary's Cemetery in Sacramento, California.
