October 29, 1929 - July 13, 2006

Sally Vargas, age 76, of Manteca, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2006 at her residence. She was born on October 29, 1929 in Colorado. Mrs. Vargas was a homemaker who loved her grandchildren, cooking, sports, and Novellas.

She is survived by son, Richard and Olivia Vargas of Manteca, Calif.; daughters, Cathy Casias of Stockton, Calif.,Helen Arias of Fresno, Calif., daughter, Margaret and David Allen of Tracy, Calif.; son, Phillip and Betty Vargas of Stockton, Calif.; daughters, Cindy Anzo of Tracy, Calif., Frances and Jerry Burciago of Modesto, Calif.; 8 brothers and 4 sisters. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren 37 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fred Vargas and her son, Louis Vargas; grandson, Mark Anzo.

Visitation will be at Park View Memorial Chapel on Thursday, July 20, 2006 beginning at 5:00 p.m. and a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 21, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Park View Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow immediately at Park View Cemetery. Services performed under the direction of Park View Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Rd., Manteca, CA 95336.
