Family-Placed Death Notice
SHERMAN, Rachel Mrs. Rachel O. Sherman, of Lawrenceville, passed October 2, 2011. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 10 am from Zion Hill Baptist Church, 3390 South Puckett Rd, Buford, Ga. 30159. Interment Zion Hill Cemetery. Her remains will lie in state at the church at 9 am. She is survived by 6 children, Thomas Sherman, Nancy Sherman Cole, Rachel Sherman Dewalt, Thomas Etta Sherman Musa, Joseph Sherman, Georgia Thompson Bates, 16 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a host of brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, from 6 until 10pm at the church. Hanley-Shelton Marietta, 770-428-6333
