Allen G. Auchmoody of Wallkill NY passed away at St. Luke's Hospital in Newburgh on June 4, 2021. He was 80 years old. Allen was born on October 12, 1940 in Clintondale, NY. He was born to the late Jason and Pauline Creque Auchmoody. Allen was retired from Department of Corrections and served his country in the National Guard. He was a dedicated member of the Wallkill Rod and Gun Club. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Allen is survived by his wife, Brenda Auchmoody at home; daughter, Debra McKenzie of Pine Plains; sons, Allen J. Auchmoody (Elaina) of Accord, Todd Auchmoody of Haines City FL.; step-daughters: Kelly Grein, Dawn Schoppmab and Michelle Schoppman; brother, Harold Auchmoody of Wallkill; 14 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank his two best friends. Johnny O and Butch for always being there.
He is predeceased by his brothers, Chet and Robert Auchmoody.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wallkill Rod and Gun Club, 316 Bruyn Turnpike, Wallkill, NY 12589.
Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory.
