Bernardo Rodriguez Obituary
The son of Juan and Teresa Rosario Rodriguez, he was born July 23, 1937in VegaBaja, Puerto Rico.
Nando was a former factory worker for Balke Products in Maybrook, and Princton Manufacturing in Middletown.
"Nando truly enjoyed his family, hunting, fishing, taking his dog on long walks, sitting on his porch people watching, and talking and laughing with his friends. His infectious smile and laugh will be missed."
Survivors include his longtime companion, Lucy Kessler, at home; three daughters: Carmen Rodriguez of Brooklyn, N.Y., Lisa Rodriguez of Copake Lake, N.Y., and Linda Rodriguez of Montgomery; one son, Jose Rodriguez of Puerto Rico; three sisters: Eva, Matilda and Milagros Rodriguez, all of Puerto Rico; three brothers: Jose, Juan Antonio and Adolfo Rodriguez, all of Puerto Rico; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews, his faithful dog, Mike, and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc., 39 Orchard St., Walden, N.Y.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Cremation will be in Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, N.Y.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
Arrangements are by the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc.

Grandma Lucy and family,
I am so sorry for your loss,losing Papa Nando is a loss for many.You are in my thoughts and my heart. I know Papa is smiling down on all of us from above.

Linda and family,i am so sorry to hear about your dad.I remember as a kid going to your dads with my parents and him always making us laugh.My dad always thought alot of him.He will be missed.Just remember keep his memory alive and he will always be with you.Just one more angel watching over all of us.god bless love Donna
