Christine Puzon Obituary
Formerly of Middletown, NY
Christine J. Puzon, of Milford, PA, formerly of Middletown, NY, a former clerk at the Grand Union in Goshen, and a lifelong area resident, entered into rest on Friday, October 9, 2009, at Park Manor Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Middletown, NY. She was 37 years old.
The daughter of Anthony and Debra Puzon, she was born September 14, 1972 in Middletown, NY.
Christine graduated from the Goshen High School in the Class of 1990. She courageously battled Huntington's Disease since she was 22 years of age.
Her survivors include her mother, Debra F. Puzon-Schanck and her husband, Ronald Schanck of Milford, PA; one sister, Jennifer Eisenberg and her husband, Lawrence of Liberty; niece, Megan Eisenberg of Liberty; stepbrother, Gregory Schanck of Norwood, NJ; stepsister, Kaeli Schanck of Florida, NY; maternal grandfather, Joseph Konefal of Middletown; step-grandmother, Lucille Schanck of Binghamton; beloved companion, Michael Gatto of Washingtonville; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Anthony Puzon; maternal grandmother, Mildred Konefal, and step-grandfather, Garrett Schanck.
Friends may call at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, NY, on Tuesday, October 13, from 10-11 a.m., funeral services will immediately follow at 11 a.m. Christine will be laid to rest next to her grandmother in the Warwick Cemetery in Warwick, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Huntington's Disease Society of America, 158 West 29th St., 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001-5300.

I was extremely saddened when I heard about Chrissy's passing. Chrissy and I were very good friends in grade school and can remember many sleepovers and fun times. May your memories of Chrissy bring you comfort during this difficult time.

Debbie and Jen, I am so sorry to hear of the your loss of Chrissy. For a space in time our lives were deeply intertwined and I have never forgot about ANY part of that period of my life. Just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers, and Gary and I remember the great memories always.

Dear Mrs. Schanck,
We are so very sorry for your loss of Chris. We had the privilege of having Chris and Mike to our family bbq this past summer. She had a great time seeing my grandchildren and Great childdaughter playing and having fun. Chris looked like she really enjoyed this time.
