Dwight Joslin Obituary

Middletown, NY

Dwight L. Joslin Sr., passed away on Friday, June 27, 2008. He was 84.

Born August 14, 1923, he was the son of the late Harold D. Joslin Sr. and Clara Joslin of Middletown.

Dwight grew up in Washington Heights and graduated from Middletown High School. He worked for the Erie Lackawanna Railroad until he retired.

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Clara; brothers, Harold Jr., Melvin and Douglas, and son, Frank.

He is survived by his wife, Jean of Walton, NY; daughter, Cynthia and Allen Butler of Windsor, CO; son, Dwight L. Jr. and Kim Joslin of Scranton, PA; son, Sam and Cathy Joslin of Scranton, PA; Chris and Linda Joslin; Dan and Jackie Joslin. Dwight has numerous grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, July 10, at 6 p.m. at the New Hope Community Church, 45 Stockton Ave., Walton, NY. Burial will be on Friday, July 11, at Bloomingburg Cemetery.
