Happy 1st Mothers Day in Heaven Mom! You are truly loved and missed by us all. Happy is not at all what this day feels like nor will Mothers Day ever be again. You were the most amazing Mom a child could ever wish to have and I along with my sisters were so blessed that you were our Mom. You filled this family with so much love and wonderful memories that during these dark days we are able to look back and recall all the the precious memories you created for us. You were not only my loving mother but my best friend. I always feared the day I would loose you, I knew the pain would be awful. Even knowing that did not prepare me for the pain and emptiness I feel with you gone. I know how important legacy.com was to you after grandpa Bill died and how you kept his guest book filled with messages. I printed those messages in a book that will be shared by this family for generations. I am now sadly starting your guestbook that I will fill with all the memories going forward that I so wish you were here to share with us. I love you and miss you Mom so much!!
Your loving daughter Kathy

Oh my dear riding buddy. How I will miss you. We had some wonderful rides around the neighborhood stopping to chat underneath our favorite shade tree. We shared our blessings and our prayer requests and had some great laughs. Of course who could forget the day we got caught in the rainstorm. I laughed all the way home and I laugh every time I think about. I'm going to miss you so much my kind and fun loving friend. I'll see you on the other side where we can leave our wheelchairs at the gates and walk through paradise with our Savior.

Mrs. Horan was the light in VOG. She was the adopted mom of every child who ever had the pleasure of meeting her. It is heart breaking to know that our light no longer shines, but I know she is at peace. Mr. and Mrs. Horan raised a beautiful family and they can continue to shine her light! Mrs. Horan you are definitely missed. Please Rest In Peace!!

Ellen Horan, she welcomed me into her family as a teenager, I had spent so much time with her family, and I quess I did not want to call Mrs Horan anymore, so i started calling her Momma H, I could talk to her about anything. We kept in touch over the years, and I was honored to help celebrate her and mr Jim's 60 anniversary . I love you and miss you Momma H.....Rest in Peace

PLEASE HELP US SEND MOM OFF "IRISH" STYLE
These unprecedented time call for unconventional arrangements. Due to the crisis, only my sisters and Dad will be able to see Mom, and only for one hour on Tuesday morning, to say goodbye. We are not allowed to have a Mass and only our small group is allowed to be graveside. WE ARE ASKING FRIENDS IN HARNESS ESTATES AND HALGREN CRESCENT TO HELP US PAY TRIBUTE TO MOM. The hearse will be leaving Donovan's Funeral Home about noon on Tuesday. We will drive by our parents home in Goshen and then travel to Haverstraw to pass by our childhood home at 168 Halgren Crescent. IF you are able, we would appreciate if you could hang a GREEN RIBBON ON YOUR MAILBOX or BE OUTSIDE as the hearse pauses in front of eac home (We expect to be in Harness Estates a little after 12 noon and in VOG a little before 1pm) Aside from being a tribute to Mom, we believe this will be somewhat of a comfort to Dad who is devastated that we are not able to give Mom a proper send off at this time. From the bottom of our hearts THANKS to anyone who is able to honor this request. I have made this post public, so feel free to share.
