We are very sorry to hear of George's passing. Not seeing him at Dixon's muzzleloading fair this year lead us to worry, only to find out on our return that he has left us. We will dearly miss him. We wish you peace dear friend.

July 21st,2009.
George and I have been brother-in -laws for over 30 years,I have neverseen him lose control or have anger since I have known him.He had more God given talent then anyone I have ever seen, I loved working with him, going shooting with him, listening to his jokes and watching him snore.Every time I hold the rifle he made for me I will think of all these things and never forget him, he will always be in my heart. My biggest regret is i never got to say goodbye to him, but I know we will meet up again, the only thing bigger than his hands was his heart, and he made room for everyone in it, God bless you.

George was the best father-in-law any guy could ask for. I considered him my brother and closest friend.
He loved his sons and daughter more than anyone imagined. This was made painfully clear while going through his apartment. Everything from hand crafted ashtrays made in elementary school, on up through their highschool days and college years was found. Anything associated with his kids, he kept. George always loved his kids, even if they had their differences.
When our son was born, George was with us. I have never seen a happier grandfather in my life. He smiled so much, his cheeks turned a bright red and his eyes were welled up with tears. Even while my son was asleep in his arms, he was smiling and beaming with life. I have never seen anyone smile as long as he did on that day, and I don't think I ever will again.
George, you will be sorely missed. You were such a kind hearted person and the best Grandfather a kid could ask for. I would do anything to have you back.
Take care George.

George was a good man and a good friend who loved his family very much. I can only hope we were as good friends to him as he was to us. We will miss him.
