Joseph Tufano Obituary

Port Jervis, NY

Mr. Joseph M. Tufano of Port Jervis, NY a lifetime resident of the area, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2008 at home. He was 61.

He was born July 23, 1947 in Port Jervis, NY, the son of the late Alfred and the late Pauline Ritzel Tufano.

He was married to Carol Harford Tufano for 37 years.

He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. during Vietnam.

He was a supporter of the PBA and a member of the Disabled American Veterans Association.

Survivors include his loving wife, Carol at home; one son, Alfred Tufano and his wife, Lisa and their daughter, Hannah of Poughkeepsie; one daughter, Kathy Tufano and her daughter, Katrina and her sons, Christopher, Austin and Joey of Port Jervis; three brothers, John Tufano of Vienna, VA, Alfred Tufano of Vienna, VA, and Tony Tufano of Port Jervis; two sisters, Mary Ann Morgan of Walden and Rosie Merlino of Walden. Also, several nieces and nephews survive. He was predeceased by two sisters, Joanne and Jeanette.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral services will be held private at the convenience of the family.

Cremation will be at H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg, PA.

Memorial Contributions may be made in C/O Carol Tufano.
