Josephine Gugliotta Obituary

Goshen, NY

Josephine Gugliotta, 88, a 56 year area resident of Goshen, NY died Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Park Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Middletown, NY.

Josephine was born May 1, 1920 in Misilmerri, Italy the daughter of Antonio and Claudia Schimenti. She was the widow of Joseph Gugliotta.

Josephine is survived by her son, Joseph Gugliotta and wife Margaret of New Hampton; two daughters, Marie Lempka and husband, Lewis of Slate Hill and Claudia Briscese and husband, James of Bloomingburg; five grandchildren: Kathleen Myers and husband, Joseph, Michael Lempka, Lisa Brown and husband, Ben, Christina Wynn and husband, John and Diane Marberger and husband, Brad; eight great-grandchildren and one on the way and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 15, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church St., Goshen.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, January 16, at 12:30 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave., Goshen. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Goshen, NY.

We are so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Stan and I always enjoyed seeing her and talking to her (even if she didn't know who we were--you know, the ones from Rochester).
