Kurt Michaelis Obituary
The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michaelis, he was born October 13, 1913 in Berlin, Germany.
He was the widower of Theresa Michaelis.
Survivors include his brother, Walter Michaelis of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 31 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church St., Goshen. Deacon Louis Baerga will officiate.
Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 419 East Main St., Middletown, NY 10940.

Kurt Michaelis was Principal Oboist in the Kulturbund Orchestra of Berlin in the Late 1930’s until 1941, when the Kulturbund was discontinued by the Nazi Party.
