Loretta passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Lakeview Rehabilitation & Care Center in Wayne, NJ. She was 78 years old. Daughter of the late James and Mary (Domenicucci) Maney, she was born on August 10, 1942 in Newburgh, NY.
Loretta worked as a banker for Key, Citizens and Riverside banks and prior to that was a supervisor at Giordano Clothing "Vicky Clothing" in Newburgh, NY. Loretta was also Godmother to Rosemary (Burte) Babcock of Middlehope, NY. Those who knew Loretta knew how much she enjoyed spending time with her family and attending family gatherings. She also enjoyed occasional day trips to Monticello Raceway and Resorts World Catskills Casino with her husband.
Loretta is survived by her husband, Leonard "Lenny" Adomiak of Walden, NY; her daughter, Liza Scotto Armbrister of Maybrook, NY; her son, Tommy Sayles and wife, Susan Pacione of New Windsor, NY; her grandchildren: Charles "CJ" Scotto (deceased), Christopher Armbrister and wife, Tracey of Newburgh, NY, Patricia Sayles Dominiguez and husband, Ramon of Poughkeepsie, Peter Pacione and wife, Joni of Little Elm, TX, Paul Pacione and wife, Gio of Newburgh, NY and Daniele Barr and husband, Damian of Wappingers Falls, NY; her great-grandchildren: Christian, Michael and Gabriella Armbrister, Scarlett Dominiguez, Paulie, Maddison, Carmine, Kaileina, Toby, and Meilani Pacione and Charlie Barr; her only brother: James Maney, Jr. and her many nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, James and Mary Maney; her in-laws, Frank and Josephine (Pliska) Shimley; her sisters-in-law, Gail Maney, Marie Budzilek and Gilda Adomiak; and her brothers-in-law, Anthony Budzilek and Frank Adomiak.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, January 7 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home, with burial following in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor.
