Michael Catalano Obituary

Michael B. Catalano, a longtime area resident, died Sunday, January 14, 2007 at O.R.M.C. Horton Campus, Middletown. He was 63 years old.

The son of the late Richard and Maria DeMeester Catalano, he was born on April 4, 1943 in Manhattan, N.Y.

He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years Deborah Haas Catalano at home. His children, Todd Catalano of Staten Island, N.Y. and Tara Catalano and her husband, Chris Beaumont of Australia. His sister, Stephanie Gorman and her husband, Joseph of Staten Island, N.Y.; as well as one niece, Samantha Kennedy.

Cremation was held privately. Michael's family will be receiving friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown. A memorial service will be celebrated at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations in Michael's name be made to a cancer foundation of one's choice.

Arrangements are under the direction of Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc.
